Hey Kids! I know…I know… It’s been way too long since I posted anything and believe me, I feel bad about it. Too many projects and not enough time in the day but it will get better. I have decided to make a change to the scheduling of my post to free up some time and still provide great SolidWorks information for my readers. Starting next week some things are going to change.

Monday, Monday..

Mondays are always hard for everybody. Sometimes it takes me an extra cup of coffee just to open my eyes long enough to read my emails and Google Reader. Luckily I always write my Monday posts on Sunday, so I can continue to knock the cobwebs out of your head every Monday morning with some great SolidWorks tips. On Mondays I will spend some time going over various tools, commands, add-ins and other tricks. If you drop me an email or even a comment I would love to know what tips and tricks you would like to see me cover.

Standards Tuesday Has Moved

Starting next week, Standards Tuesday will become Standards Wednesday. There is no real reason for this other then I wanted to balance out the week. Sometimes, in the past, the post during the week felt a little lopsided with all of the post at the beginning of the week. So don’t freak out if on Tuesday morning you don’t get your ASME goodness in your RSS reader.

…And Finally it’s Friday

On Fridays, I am going to try something new. Starting next Friday I will begin a step-by-step modeling tutorial. Using everyday items everybody should be familiar with, I will describe in detail the modeling process from start to finish. Every week, I will model a different component of a assembly using screen shots and detail instruction for every step. Afterward, the model will be available for download. Learning about various SolidWorks tools is great but sometimes it helps when you see the practical applications.

Just because I have not scheduled anything for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Weekends; it doesn’t mean I won’t have anything. From time to time when the mood strikes me I may surprise you with some supplemental post that I will make available to RSS subscribers.
