Have you had an opportunity to compare this to DBworks? Seems like it will be more tightly integrated with Solidworks owning it.

Just saw this post for the first time and would like to compliment you on how objective your approach is. As this was written earlier in the year have you any further comments to share? By the way I work for SolidWorks and am always looking for feedback on SolidWorks Enterprise PDM (PDMWE).

Thanks for stopping by the site. Unfortunately, due to a huge design project I have been working on, our PDME implementation was put on the back burner for a while. I hope that it will be one of my primary projects early in 2009.

Hi Rob,

We are just starting the process of setting up our workflows, so I am sure I
will have something to add to this topic at a later date. It is hard for me
to do too much on PDMWW or PDMWE since I do not have my own seat at home. I
cannot make screen shots from our setup at my work, so there probably won't
be too much to add...for now.
