Hi Hugh,

Unfortunately I am not a hardware geek but in my experience there are probably more then just your video card that could be the issue. What I alwayz do when i experience speed issues is I remove my paging file in windows, defrag my drive then setup the paging file again. Then you should look at what processes you have running in your windows environment. That would be my first step before I start buying new hardware.

I have a Quadro FX1400, running SW2009 is a pain!

Any sketch with dimensions on it now becomes very very slow, zooming in and out and even opening a sketch takes ages. I have tried disabling many of the enhancement options but no luck, is it just my graphics card getting too old?
