SolidWorks World 2009 Roll Call
Jan 5th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Featured Articles, SolidWorks World
With the holidays behind us, all eyes have turned to SolidWorks World 2009 in Orlando. In 34 days, I will be attending my very first SolidWorks World and I am excited to be able to represent The SolidWorks Geek blog and the SolidWorks Geeks community site. In addition to be able to sit in on some awesome presentations and other events, I am extremely excited to meet other SolidWorks Geeks for the first time.
Since I started The SolidWorks Geek and SolidWorks Geeks, I have met some amazing people in the community. I have been honored to be accepted into the ranks of other bloggers, like Jeff Mirisola, Josh Mings, Mike Puckett, Ricky Jordan, Matt Lombard, Gabi Jack and many more. About 7 months ago I was reading these blogs daily and today I consider them all friends. That is one reason why I am extremely excited about SolidWorks World. I will finally be able to see my new friends face to face, many for the first time. But to be fair, the main reason I am excited about going is you…the reader.
Since I have started blogging, my readers have been the driving force behind the site. I cannot recall how many times, in the beginning of the site, I was feeling discouraged. Then I started receiving emails from readers all over the world. Everyone was so grateful for the information I shared and the messages were an awesome pick-me-up. Without all of you, who knows if the site would have made it past the hardest first month. That is why I am excited about being able to meet as many of you as possible at SolidWorks World.
What I wanted to do today was to hear from you. In the comments section, let me know if you are planning on going to SolidWorks World. I would love to hear what you are excited about seeing or hearing. If you aren’t going, I would love to hear why. Sound off people… I am listening.
