Let the Festivities Begin – SolidWorks World 2010
Once a year SolidWorks geeks from around the world converge on an unsuspecting city somewhere within the US. This year SolidWorks has invaded a city that is near and dear to my heart to bring together thousands of SolidWorks users to learn, share and connect with other users. SolidWorks World is the international user conference and exposition that is being held this year in Anaheim, California. Anaheim is not only the home of the Angels, Ducks and some evil mouse; it also the hometown for yours truly. I am proud to be the unofficial ambassador for Anaheim and to show what this beautiful city has to offer to a few thousand of my closest friends.
For the second year in a row, SolidWorks had invited me to cover the conference as a member of the press. Last year was not only my first SolidWorks World as a member of the press but it was also my very first world. If you remember my coverage of the event last year, I was overwhelmed by the entire experience. This year, I have a better idea of what to expect. That means that I should be able to bring you more articles … at least that is what I am planning. If all goes as planned, over the next couple of days I will be sharing with you some of my experiences here. Keep checking that RSS feed for what I am sure is to be an unforgettable week. Also, if you are on twitter, you can follow along with me and all of the other bloggers with the hashtag #SWW10. Just allow me to apologize ahead of time for some of the things I say and do. No matter what it is, I am sure that it is all Jeff Mirisola’s fault.
